Motorola Xoom WiFi is a well build 10.1″ tabled from 2011, with 32GB internal storage and 1GB RAM. I installed the official CyanogenMod 10.1 on mine, but I was unable to install and run Google Play Store. It took me a wile to find an alternative Android 4.4 KitKat based operating system called OmniROM. Literally an alternative of the alternative, because it’s an unofficial OmniROM Homemade Build Android 4.4.4. It works fast enough and compares better to many of the modern low cost tablets.
How to install OmniROM on Motorola Xoom. You can use the official CyanogenMod manual and use the OmniROM build instead of CM10.1.
